This artwork was a visual aid when teaching Indigenous adult art students at Batchelor Institute for Indigenous Tertiary Education where I was a Lecturer in the Art Department for several years. We were concentrating on the Google Earth Geoscience concept of viewing ‘community’ from aerial distance on the Internet and then responding to the geography with paint and collage; building up the depth of the typography on canvas.
