This installation, first exhibited at Falaki Gallery in Cairo consists of 40 scrolls made of layers of waxed silk and rice paper, in the colours red, yellow and blue. Some scrolls have handwritten text on them, others have tracings of floral and geometric patterns in pencil and ink, or a combination of text and pattern. Some scrolls are plain. The scrolls are suspended from the ceiling throughout the space in a random configuration through which one walks in order to view the work.
