Stephen's comment:

The assertive and fluid power of plants axiomatically inspire blown glass. In contras to the predictable square geometric base, the organic asymmetry growing from it demand unseen physical tensions for vertical stability to be maintained. The eye meanders restlessly over intertwined sinuous stems, to find release in the flower's openness.
