I was born in Ubud Bali. Ubud is the heart of Bali and the centre of Balinese art . There are many different kinds of artists born in Ubud . We have painters , stone and wood carver s, Batik  artists, dancers and gambelan musicians. Since I was young boy I have always been a wood carver. I moved to live in Adelaide in 1993. I couldn't find suitable wood to use for my artwork. So from that timeon, I became a stone sculptor. Since the I have worked with many different kinds of stone .

My sculptures ar e all inpsired by traditional Balinese designs.
