ARTIST Gus Clutterbuck

Gus Clutterbuck's arts practice is strongly influenced by sculptural approaches to ceramics and a continuing fascination with the impact of medicine on contemporary society and culture. His latest body of work, Stayin Alive, exploring ethical issues surrounding doctor-patient relationships and pharmaceutical marketing, was presented at JamFactory Contemporary Craft & Design (SALA 2006), and recently in a hospital setting at Flinders Medical Centre, (April/May 07) receiving a positive response from both critics and general public.

Gus is also an experienced Project Manager having delivered highly successful programs for many arts organisations. Currently he is the Project Coordinator of Inside SAM's Place 2007 for Craftsouth, managing exhibitions of contemporary craft within the SA Museum.
