I derive my inspiration from the surreal and strive to express the unrealistic aspects of life in an unrealistic form. In questioning the real, I focus on the everyday and familiar and juxtapose these in unusual contexts. I give familiar objects new translations. I can thereby reunite conscious and unconscious realms of experience so completely that the world of dream and fantasy are joined to the everyday rational world in 'an absolute reality, a surreality'.
