Public Art Sculptor
My art practice, which is based on the 16 years of skills and experience is acquired from my previous occupation as a sheet metal tradesman, has been developed and strengthened with a Bachelor of Visual Arts and Applied Design and a Certificate in Small Business Management. My practice has expanded to include a variety of clientele and he has produced many successful commissions, both in the public and private sectors. I have dedicated much of his practice in being involved with the community and researching, consultation and in some cases community workshops.
My Certificate in Small Business Management has given me the skills required to successfully operate a small business including developing appropriate administrative skills and the use of relevant computer programmes for design and documentation. The commissions and projects I have been involved with demonstrate my ability to manage budgets and work within given timelines.
The diversity of professional experiences and artistic outcomes within my art practice has granted me great insight into the development and successful completion of major works of art. I have worked with architects, landscape architects, engineers and construction companies and understand and appreciate the significance of collaboration to obtain a successful outcome.
