The Artful Conundrum

One of the most difficult factors when buying art, especially online, is not being able to see it in a ‘real place’, or ‘in situ’, as it were. We try our best to provide you with a range of photos for our pieces to allay this problem, but sometimes the only thing that will do is a picture of the piece in all its glory – installed.

The best ‘No-I-didn’t-forget-it-was-Mother’s-Day’ present

On the Seventh of May, ART LOGIC turned out in support of mothers everywhere, and offered pedestrians of the motherly persuasion on Norwood Parade the opportunity to have a free portrait done by one of our incredible artists!

It has to be fun and challenging!

"It has to be fun and challenging. I want people to talk and laugh about it. And I want art everywhere." This is the brief we got from an Adelaide client last year.

We've just hung our third art rental exhibit in their offices in Grenfell Street, 23 artworks, right in the middle of Adelaide's CBD. Staff and visitors will be able to enjoy these South Australian artworks for 6 months; then we will hang another set of artworks.

Security Guards Can Be Charming

Far too early last Sunday morning, three other ART LOGICites and I met outside one of Adelaide’s skyscrapers. I came equipped with my police clearance certificate and my Malaysian passport. FIVE security guards awaited us, looking quite the scary part in their black uniforms, high tech walkie-talkies and their guns and sticks ( …hmmh maybe the latter apparel was just my imagination). Their behavior failed to meet my expectations: they all smiled profusely, were extremely charming, and helped us cart in the mountains of gear we needed for the day.

We've Done It

Hurrah! We've done it.
After one year of slaving over a hot computer we have completed our new website. We've always had an ART LOGIC website - so why would we bother making a new one?

This is the conversation that got the ball rolling:

"Jacqueline, your website is shocking; 'horrible' would be a kind
adjective to describe it." - a heart-warming comment from an IT friend.
